A studio full of passion and grace,

A place to learn, a place to race,

A place to practice and refine,

The art of dance- an art divine

a sight like no other- one to behold,

A steady melody fills the air,

heartbeats in a deep love affair

With movements so intricate and light,

her fervent passion for dance takes flight

soaring in tune, so graceful and free,

the beauty of ballet; so deep and serene

Toes pointed and arms extended,

the ballerina glides with elegance unended

The emotions flow like a river's spine,

people watch in awe, in silence; they pine

With music so soft, it soothes the soul,

the artistry of a dancer's goal

capturing hearts, and stealing breaths,

with the poise and power of her pirouettes

She twirls on point, so fluid and sweet

memorized by the finesse of her sure feet,

desire builds in her silky jetés,

obsession grows in her satin chassés

The love of ballet is a wonderful thing,

no voice heard, but oh, does it sing

It's no wonder she's able to entrance

with the curves and lines made by her dance

Souls touched- the audience weeps,

the serenade over -her notes hit deep

She takes a bow as viewers reminisce

the caress of her piece like a lover's smooth kiss
