The Garden

A Poem

By Olia HHPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
From the Old Farmers Alminac

In a garden of flowers

In a bed of clean air

In a world that looks sideways

In a garden that swirls

Now I sit in this garden

Feel that air on my neck

As I sit in this garden

And I play with my hair

When a child comes along

And I don’t feel as alone

As they sit in the garden beside me

And I glance at my home

As they say let’s be friends

I hope this never ends

For the garden within me

Full of the flower beds

Wants to stay with this child

As the sun ends
