The Five Senses in the Cosmos and on Earth

senses

In space, the senses fade away,

No taste or smell, no night or day.

But in our world, the senses thrive,

A symphony of sensations come alive.

See the stars twinkle in the night,

Like diamonds dancing in the light.

The colors of the planets, bright and bold,

A feast for the eyes, a wonder to behold.

Hear the rockets roar as they ascend,

A powerful sound, a journey to the end.

The silence of the vacuum, so profound,

A peaceful hush, without a sound.

Feel the weightlessness, like floating on air,

An ethereal sensation, beyond compare.

The warmth of the sun, a comforting embrace,

A soothing touch, a gentle grace.

Taste the flavors of the earth below,

A burst of sweetness, a hint of woe.

The spices and herbs, a culinary delight,

A symphony of tastes, a sensory flight.

In space, the senses may be lost,

But on earth, they are the ultimate cost.

A world of wonder, a sensory delight,

A universe of sensations, day and night.
