The emptiness of a love that faded away

But time passed, and the flame died, Leaving only a trace of what once was. A love that was real, but couldn't survive, A feeling that slipped through our grasp.

The emptiness of a love that faded away,

A memory of a feeling that once was so strong.

A time when our hearts were meant to stay,

And love was a fire that couldn't go wrong.

But time passed, and the flame died,

Leaving only a trace of what once was.

A love that was real, but couldn't survive,

A feeling that slipped through our grasp.

Now all that remains is a hollow space,

An emptiness that lingers within.

A love that was once filled with grace,

Now nothing but a memory that's thin.

But though the love may have faded away,

Its memory will live on in our hearts.

A love that was once bright, but couldn't stay,

Now a distant spark that still imparts.
