We meet outside, a coffee shop,

She bound up to me, with a kiss and a hop,

Her curled blond hair, fills up my frame,

I suddenly don't know, how to play this game,

She's an angel but, so down to earth,

I know her beauty, I know her worth,

My legs have gone, I'm starting to flounder,

How could I be having, this amazing encounter,

Was she really here, to meet with me?

Surely she could have, almost anybody?

Her eyes oh my, I'm falling fast,

I see our life, quickly flashing past,

Never have I, felt like this,

Where I'm totally in, a complete tizz,

Thankfully, She leads with a question,

Followed by, a caring suggestion,

So we take a walk, with coffees in hands,

I'm out of my depth, I have no plans,

We find a bench, close to the sea,

And I find I'm staring, at my destiny,

I'm totally lost, In conversation,

With this beautiful, wonderful sensation,

I feel no panic, I feel so calm,

Nervous yet, her smile disarms,

The day goes by, It feels like a minute,

My heart expanding, seems to have no limit,

No person I, in my life so far,

Made me feel so helpless, it's quite bizarre!

How much I craved, time to slow,

But it came the time, for her to go,

Why was this now, so hard to do,

Leave a person, you know's right for you,

Who exceeds your dreams, in every way,

But there's nothing you do, that can make her stay,

Oh god I hope, there's another day,

So I can explain, the way I feel,

I knew day one, this love was real,

One year on, the feelings the same,

In fact I feel, each day they gain.
