Loneliness

Loneliness, it's a burden so great

A weight that crushes, the soul it takes

The darkness it brings, it feels like fate

A heart so heavy, with no escape

Silence falls, like a deafening sound

A mind that wanders, with nowhere to be found

A world so cold, with no one around

Loneliness, a thief that steals without a sound

Days so long, with a heart so low

A soul that cries, with nowhere to go

Sweet memories, now a bitter show

Loneliness, a pain that's hard to outgrow

Nights so still, with a heart so loud

A soul that weeps, in an empty crowd

Sweet memories, now just a shroud

Loneliness, a pain that can't be avowed

The weight of loneliness, a pain so real

A soul so lost, with no one to feel

The love once shared, now just a memory to steal

A heart so heavy, with a loneliness that's surreal

But in the darkness, there's always light

A glimmer of hope, in the midst of the night

A love that's true, a soul that's bright

The weight of loneliness, no longer a fight

For in the end, it's love that prevails

A heart that heals, when all else fails

The weight of loneliness, a love that trails

A soul once lost, now set to sail
