The weight of it all

The weight of loss, a burden so great

A heart so heavy, it feels like fate

The pain of absence, an endless ache

A void so deep, a soul can barely take

The memories once sweet, now a bitter pill

A love once cherished, now forever still

The laughter and joy, now a distant thrill

A heart in pieces, a soul so ill

The tears fall like rain, from eyes that weep

A heart now broken, a soul that can't keep

The weight of sorrow, a burden too steep

A love now gone, a heart that can't sleep

The nights so quiet, with a heart so loud

A mind that races, a soul so proud

Of a love once shared, now buried in shroud

A heart now heavy, a soul now bowed

The pain of loss, a wound that will not heal

A heart once full, now an empty field

The love once felt, now a distant memory

A soul in pain, with a love now history
