The Crafted Heart
A Testament to Love and Strength
In a world of fleeting loves and shifting sands,
She bore a heart, a wondrous thing, to understand.
As if she'd known a father's love so true,
Forged from the finest maple, strong and new.
From boughs that touched the moon's celestial face,
Her heart took shape with elegance and grace.
Whittled by his hilt-held knife, a work of art,
Skin unscarred by doubt, his love her solid part.
Each stroke he made, a testament to care,
Wood bespoke, a love beyond compare.
Shaped into a daughter, sturdy, strong,
She felt in every grain where she belonged.
She knew a man whose word was solid gold,
In deeds and promises, his love was bold.
As if she had a carpentered heart within,
Locked and guarded, it was hers to win.
No feast for those whose intentions were unclear,
Her love was a kingdom, held dear and near.
A treasure with a key that only few would find,
In her carpentered heart, true love enshrined.
