The Beauty of Nature

A walk through a meadow

As I walk through the meadow

I began to wonder

What has caused the beauty of it all

The lush green trees, swaying in the wind

The bushes and plants that cover the ground

The soft green grass

The bright pink and red flowers

The songbirds on their trees

The squirrels that scamper away as you walk towards them

The tranquil clearing

The steep hills

The cold, refreshing water in the creek

The fresh, clear air

What has caused the beauty of it all

Was it the Creator

Was it just nature, moving as gracefully and spontaneously as it does

Was it some ancient civilization that planted the saplings that created this very meadow

What has caused the beauty of it all
