In Walthamstow's forgotten lanes, where shadows silently creep,

Lies a tale of love and courage, buried secrets to keep,

Sammy, a boy of sixteen, with burdens hard to bear,

In Lloyd Park, he finds solace, amidst the whispering air.

Oh, Lloyd Park, where secrets dwell,

Beneath your trees, our story to tell,

Of Sammy and me, two souls entwined,

In love's embrace, our hearts aligned.

With a drunken father's anger, Sammy faced the night,

But in my tender gaze, he found a guiding light,

Through the maze of doubt and fear, we walked hand in hand,

In Lloyd Park's embrace, we forged a love that would withstand.

In your quietude, our love was made,

Sammy and me, in each other's sight,

Found strength to face the darkest night.

A ballad of love's triumph over shadows, sung again and again.
