That boy—the one with the baby-soft hair

That boy—whose embrace makes invisible trumpets blare

That boy—whom I can no longer deny

That boy—without whose love I would die

The days with him were filled with inexplicable bliss

"Gib mir dein Hand" and "Give me a Kiss"

Mornings commencing with White’s Lazaretto

Nights re-beginning with soy amaretto

Beach walks and small towns, a week of sheer leisure

To learn how to love you my only endeavor

Garda, Verona, Romeo and Juliet

Thanks for the memories even I can't forget

Speeding down the Autobahn, what an adrenaline rush

Not caring if life ended beside my Eternal Crush

But we survived—and arrived—at your picturesque home

Where for the first time I lost my impulse to roam

Finally grasped why people do settle down

Being there with my Prince who discarded his crown

Understood why two souls merge into husband and wife

And actually attach to this gift we call "Life"

For never before you have I felt so at ease

Ever-departing like leaves on a breeze

Never letting anyone completely in

But acting on impulse and feminine whim

Once basking in the freedom of my solitude

Now I only find freedom in the loving of you

For when I surrendered, I gave you my all

My reason, my passion, my body, my soul

So here is my Heart - do with it as you wish

Know that each moment without, you are sorely missed

Know you're simply the most beautiful boy that I've ever seen

And with you my realities meld with my dreams.
