The night claimed the lives of many innocent people.

You didn't even have time to know it, but many no longer saw the light of the new day.

Families went to bed crying the departure of a loved one.

The blue sky was tinged black for a brief moment, and no one could stop it.

A gentle heart suddenly turned off its lights, and never turned them on again.

Only the memories of those sunny days that seemed not to end will remain.

Only the pale embrace of a ghost that refuses from all will remain.

The night ended abruptly with what seemed to never end.

A heart weary from waging an endless war finally stopped.

A tormented soul finally succumbed to eternal darkness.

The clock marked the final hour for a poor unsuspecting citizen.

Cold tears spilled silently during the early hours of the morning.

A gun silenced forever a scream that went astray on its way to heaven.

However, and despite all the sadness that your soul carries, you had the fortune to dawn one more day.

Life gave you the opportunity to once again embrace the beings you love the most.

You can feel the soft caress of the morning wind on your skin.

Your ears can rejoice at the notes coming from the old piano.

Blood runs smoothly through your veins, reminding you that there is life within you.

Isn't that reason enough to feel grateful?

A sore heart finally left for the eternal light.

The newspapers will not say anything about those who left in complete silence.

With any luck, the police will give peace to those whose lives ended.

The old crow squawks in the distance, heralding an end to all misfortune.

Night watchmen will dance embracing the infamous night demons.

No one knows what happens when the soul's eyes are closed for a few minutes.

Someone will seek shelter from the cold among a skein of broken dreams.

The streets will soon be tinged with crimson tones, thirsty for revenge.

The witnesses will keep the most dismal of all possible silences.

Who could blame them for trying to save their souls from the cruellest fate?

The daughters of the night wipe away their tears so they can continue working.

They know that their clients care little about what happens to them.

Isn't that reason enough to feel grateful for life?

Isn't that reason enough to feel like the luckiest person in the world?

In the middle of the night, a fledgling thief will seek to make a fortune made from ether.

Children will dream of horizons painted in pastel colors, oblivious to the reality that takes away their parents' sleep.

At night, there will be citizens who do not sleep, working to alleviate the pain of others.

The moon silently drops a silver-colored tear, showing its pain for the disappeared.

No one knows what happens in the darkest hours of the night, and very few really care.

Many voices go out, and almost nobody manages to realize that.

There are people who do not know the protective embrace of a family.

Some can only dream of the plate of food you have on your table today.

Please, dear soul, do not go blind and thank today for what you have.
