Ten Toes

i used to fear speaking out because of the isolation that would come with it, the abandonment that comes with doing the right thing. crazy, right? i was pretty much forced into abandoning that comfortable spot. it feels good.

a ton of people believing a lie will never make it true; the truth is still the truth. one person doing good is still of the utmost nobility even if a ton of people choose to stand in their immorality. "ten toes" is grounding yourself in integrity and not being afraid to walk the lonely road because it is far better and far more rewarding than grouping and siding with people who stand for keeping up what is wrong, or worse—who don't stand for anything at all.

i've changed, but i did not change. my transformation led me back to myself. i re-found my voice. i won't ever lose it again.

for the good of what is right, keep shining your light.

the light outdoes the darkness, scatters the divide, and exposes what is covered.

covered in goodbyes, many failed tries—of many hidden foes—and the piling woes... still, make certain, you stay ten toes."
