I am the steel that God
Has spent my life tempering!
The heated act of going through
Traumas and lost relationships
The cooling down as I attend
The counselling to process it
The people He put in my life
To temper those wounds
And to bathe me in prayer
Was the balm my soul needed
Only to brace as the next
Obstacles came my way
So I geared up ready for more
Refining of my character
As I could see my Lord working
In my life to mold me
To strengthen my endurance
To keep me forging ahead
I’ll never be fully tempered
Till I reach my final home
But I’m ok if God keeps working
To shape me to His will
About the Creator
Linda Bromley
Just one of many creative outlets for me has been books! My whole life I’ve loved them and it’s so easy to make the jump to writing.
Recently I completed a poetry challenge and now, looking for more excuses to write, I’ve found myself here!
