surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Me
as you open your eyes to the raising sun, the figures the colors you see. what could it be.?Are they the same in the morning as they are at night. Or does the mind play a game of spite. Raising your hands to reach it, what could it be. If my skin was pink would I still be loved. If my lips where purple would I be judge on what my words that hug on to. They hold so much value on a prefect imagine of color. You see! If only the world could see the love I have, or my inqsitive mind. The set of rules that ignorance hold by not understanding the power of color and words. In the end I am just trying to be me. Allow me to be me in what state I am there is not color no walls nor doors no locks just Me . A human being trying understand life and all the colors it brings. The trail and error we all need to go through, so we all become...me.
