A FRANK TALK ABOUT THIS COLOR THING

DO YOU CARE ANYWAY ABOUT MY POINT OF VIEW

By Novel AllenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read
Disney's POCAHONTAS, COLORS of the wind

I have pondered the matter

from the perspective of color itself

from the perspective of the feelings that color bring

from the aches and pains of colors of love

to the depth of pain of loss

and trying to consolidate the heart of another with the

heart of mine

I traversed the universe

Trying to convince you that what I have to say

MATTERS

IN THE END

NONE OF IT MATTERS

WE LIVE OUR LIVES AS PEOPLE

ACCEPTING WHAT WE ARE

HAVING OUR OWN OPINIONS

OUR OWN POINTS OF VIEW

OUR OWN WAYS OF ACCEPTING US

WHAT WE SAY MIGHT NOT BE

WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR

THE WORLD IS COLORS AND NUMBERS

WE DO THE BEST WE CAN

WHY DO YOU EVEN ASK

YOU ALL KNOW THAT THERE WILL ALWAYS

BE GREATER AND LESSER OPINIONS

ON A PARTICULAR MATTER

But then

AS A CONGREGATE

ALL THESE COLORFUL OPINIONS, VIEWS, AND

SOUL SEARCHING EPIPHANIES

HAVE BEEN A BALM TO MY SENSES

ALL REACHING DEEP TO DISCOVER

WHAT WE ARE MADE OF

THE AGGREGATE OF ALL OUR WORK

AFTER ALL

IS OUR CREATIVITY

HOW MUCH OR HOW LITTLE

IS WONDERFULLY BESTOWED UPON US

WE SHALL EMBRACE

THEY LISTENED, MY LITTLE FRIENDS

WE ARE ALL ONE COLOR

ONE LIGHT

BURNING BRIGHT

I HAVE FOUND JOY IN THIS ADVENTURE

MY SENSES HAVE BEEN TITILLATED

COLORS HAVE A NEW MEANING

I AM MELLOW AND

ON A NEW SEEING EYE JOURNEY.
