surreal poetry
Surrealist poetry embodies the essence of poetry itself, drawing upon shocking imagery and lyrical incongruities to comment on the inner-workings of the mind.
Abstract
Frozen, glazed in the thoughts of forever, questioning the foresights of my decisions, I ponder, peeking deep into the abyss my mind manifest, It's folds graver the my imagination foreseen, brimming on the edge of insanity, these thoughts conjure emotions untainted by my subconscious, lost on a path illuminated by foresights, But blinded by my imagination of a peaceful residence, hopeful on where refuge should be, yet unsure by particular thoughts of paradise, hesistant as I peer into into the eyes of a man afraid of his destiny, distant from thoughts without lights, digging deeper into this pit, its depth unsuitable for a honest man, yet his eyes reveal the truth, his smile faint with dim spots of joy, eager as his thoughts forge him into a deity, but humble he must remain.
