Insular. Top Story - July 2026.
Quick note : I wrote this typical stream, free verse that I sometimes do without much thought a couple of weeks ago, just needed to give it a quick edit. I love the word insular and the meaning too, so thought that could be a good word to use for the challenge in repeating lines.. Yet, as per usual I’ve realised it doesn’t fulfil the criteria as I have a silly habit of skimming over criteria in challenges and there’s nothing satirical about this! 😂 So it is not an entry! Oh well. I always march to the beat of my own drum, so that’s that. 😄
