Home Ship
Breathing underneath the water on Home Ship was something Kapp could still not wrap his head around. Swimming felt more like controlling his body in low-gravity than truly moving through water. This was lighter, had little resistance, and was breathable. As he continued to swim downward following Qualia’s trail he took in his surroundings.

Splunk
Kapp awoke with a gasp and a clatter. He had been having a nightmare picturing Bristax as a Lobster Monster or Nokken as they had labeled themselves. She had turned to him with her brown hair now black, and green eyes now red. She shook the hair out of her face, then suddenly a falling sensation woke him up and he was on the ground.

Darkness
Before sharing this poem I want to make it clear that while as a teenager I had suicidal thoughts more than once. I have been affected by suicide, and senseless death, in more ways than one. I have seen and felt the impact that it has on whole communities. I also in no way want to discredit the darkness that I know many of us battle to contain on a daily basis, and some of our close friends have succumbed to. I do not assume to understand the full weight of the pain that they felt leading up to their deaths. However, I also want to open myself up as a person that people can talk to about these feelings.
