Song Lyrics
I Blame My Heart
I Blame My HeartI blame myself for loving you,For hiding all I felt so true. You lit my heart, my every veinBut where to go with all this pain?I’m torn between two hearts I know,One holds me back, one lets me go.So tell me now, which path to take? And how to mend a heart that breaks? For years, my soul has walked with yours,Yet never knocked on open doors.I bled in silence, smiled through scars,And loved you more than all the stars. But silent love is sharp and deep,It steals my breath, it haunts my sleep. No blame can soothe, no words explainSo where to go with all this strain? You fade each day and leave me still,I chase you through each dream I fill.I live a life inside my mind,Where love is real, though undefined. And so I stay, and so I write,Of love that lost its way to light.I blame myself for loving youFor all these years. And still I do.

What I Like About Me
* A few things that make me think I’m ok, to the tune of: What I like about you * What I like about......me??? Ughhhh.. I don’t get uptight, tell me I’m the only one, never getn’ sleep a night, yeah! Worries whispering in my ear, writing all the things that you wanna hear, it’s freeing- that’s what I like about me.

A Bloom in My Heart
A bloom has risen within my chest, It blossomed despite my silence and unrest. Like a promise whispered from afar, Perfuming time like a falling star. I was nothing but a fugitive of yearning, My sails pulled by winds ever turning. Yet you arrived, a hidden light, Undressing the dark, revealing the night. You flowed into my dream like rain, Quenching my thirst, easing the pain. I whispered, “Welcome, love once lost,” Returned without a reason, without a cost. Come back to where our hearts once stayed, To the soul that wept, the hope that swayed. I searched for you in every beat, You live in me — in silence, sweet. Come back; there’s no escape in flight, No cure in sips that bloom in blight. The flowers drank from tears once shed, In a time inked by what wasn’t said. And when my heart felt your faint glow, It danced again, let longing flow. It cried, “If only I had been The hand that caught you, not what’s been.” You came like magic, soft and wide, A blaze that rose with gentle stride. I'm the tired soul adrift and bare, Who lost your trail in empty air. I etched your name in every wall, And drew your ghost where ashes fall. Will you return to my fading flame? To save this world from sounding the same? I love you — has a poet said These words and not been left unread? I love you — read them in my eyes, Where silence sleeps, and longing lies. I'm sleepless, waiting for your breath, I even miss your silent wrath. Let me see you — even in dream, Where memory lives, and shadows gleam. Let me melt in a fleeting trace, As if your smile could time replace. My silence grows — my hands now sing, With sorrow's voice... without a string. Return, and maybe time will mend, And life will bloom where it did end.

Shedding Season
I’m shedding the skin of the woman I wore— stitched from silence, pressed to perform, tight at the seams with smiles that weren’t mine. She was glass— clear, polished, always about to shatter. Now I am clay, soft in some places, hardened by fire but shaped to hold water. I’m letting go of chore charts disguised as love, of parenting tips and filtered clips that preach a gospel I can’t live. I’m not a blueprint. I’m not a brand. I’m the tremble in her tiny hand when she’s reaching for comfort— and I’m learning that’s enough. I’m letting go of mirrors that mock me. Lines around my eyes aren’t lies— they’re time's soft tattoo, etched proof I made it through. I miss the girl who liked being called young, but I honor the woman who stretched skin and soul to bring life from her lungs. I’m letting go of old math— where I gave more to men who gave less, and called it love when it was just another test I thought I had to pass. I’m learning that goodness given freely isn’t weakness— it’s grace. That selflessness isn’t measured in how much I erase. I’m walking out of stained-glass expectations, leaving behind the pews that bruised, the rules that used God’s name to shame. Now, I pray not to be perfect— but to be present. Not to perform— but to pour from the well He filled when no one else could. And maybe— letting go isn’t a loss but a loosening. Not falling apart, just finally becoming.

Fields of Fate and Whispers of Love
Amid the fields, my fate drew near Like water flowing, calm and clear To quench the thirst of crops in need And plant within my soul a seed Life called to me: “Awake, arise!” As night withdrew from dawning skies A bride of dreams appeared so bright To bless my heart with gentle light “How are you now?” she softly said While love’s own whisper filled my head I blushed and stammered, thoughts unsure No words could heal what I endured Yet chained by awe, my smile was free My face lit up with reverie She caught my joy and with a glance Returned my soul’s first trembling dance “No need to shy away from me Sing all the songs that set you free You are the poet, born to weave The tales that dreamers still believe” My heart then danced, my tongue found voice In hymns that made the winds rejoice “You are my love, my verse, my tide The myth where all my truths reside” What more could I, a poet, say? You filled my heart in every way So let us sing, let love reveal Its words through fields and songs that heal
