Christian Poetry: "Young Oak Tree"
This is an original poem that analogizes the new Christian to a young oak tree. It speaks of the importance of ensuring those coming to Christ are discipled and have a strong foundation (roots), for when trials and temptations come (the four winds), they might not be able to stand. My poem is also a reminder that every new creation in Christ takes on a fresh identity (a strong and tall oak), and they should always remember who they are in Him and what they have the potential to be.
