Seaside Breathing

The sea breathes along the shore,

A rhythm older, than before,

Waves roll in, then drift away,

A quiet ending, to each sway.

Sand is warm, beneath your feet,

Each small step, feels complete,

Nothing pulling, nothing tight,

Just open space, and endless light.

Gulls turn circles, in the sky,

Calling out, as they pass by,

Their voices echo, wide and free,

A song carried, across the sea.

The horizon stretches, far and wide,

A steady line, where dreams can hide,

You watch it long, without a word,

Feeling something, softly stirred.

The wind moves through your hair,

A touch so light, it lingers there,

No harsh edges, nothing sharp,

Just a calm, unfolding arc.

Time dissolves, in salt and air,

Nothing heavy, nothing rare,

Just this moment, clear and wide,

Standing still, beside the tide.

You breathe it in, the quiet blue,

Let it settle, deep in you,

A simple calm, that does not break,

A steady peace, you slowly take.

And when you turn, to walk away,

The sea remains, in quiet sway,

Still breathing softly, just the same,

Calling you back, without a name.
