love poems
Love poems for hopeless romantics; I'm the poet and you're my muse.
Imperfect Guardian
You’re missing your angel Your imperfect guardian— On her wings you would fly Not soar, perhaps, But so long as you could glide You were happy But now you fall Fall Fall Fall Down in a spiral Without her arms to catch you Without her strength to carry you Without her love to reassure you And so you keep falling Down Down Down With no end in sight Darkness surrounds you Darkness Dark Dark Dark Until a small light blinds you And my hand grabs you And pulls you back up As you hold me up as well Now we fly through the darkness Learning to glide once more Without her guidance Together
