Break the Chains of Violence
Behind closed doors, a nightmare unfolds A story of pain and fear untold A victim of domestic violence in silence Afraid to speak out, trapped in compliance Behind the bruises and the tears Lies a soul filled with doubts and fears A heart that longs for love and peace Yet trapped in a cycle that never cease The abuser's hand, a weapon of destruction Leaves scars that go beyond physical obstruction It breaks the spirit and shatters the soul And leaves the victim feeling less than whole But there's hope in the midst of despair A way out for those who dare To break the chains of violence and abuse And take a stand for a life anew Let's raise our voices against this plight And shine a light on the darkest of nights Let's offer a hand to those in need And help them break free from this cruel breed For every victim of domestic violence Deserves a life filled with love and radiance Let's stand together, hand in hand And put an end to this vicious demand.

He was known throughout the kingdom for his intelligence and wit, and he spent most of his days reading books and engaging in lively debates with anyone who would listen. His friends and family admired him for his vast knowledge and his ability to solve even the most complex problems. One day, as Anwar was strolling through the palace gardens, he came across an old man sitting under a tree. The old man's face was lined with wrinkles, and his hair and beard were snow-white. Anwar was intrigued by the old man and approached him to strike up a conversation.

An Open Letter to Society
To Whom it May Concern, As a whole, America has come a long way. We have grown a lot the past to today. Slavery is always the elephant in the room. We are not allowed to speak on it. The subject is taboo. It happened, it is a part of our history. There's nothing we can do. I am a black woman, so slavery is a part of my life. My ancestors are majority black, a small handful are white. I visited the very plantation my ancestors lived on. I saw the living quarters, cotton fields, and so on. Small, dark and cramped are the adjectives I used while I was there. It is so unfair. But the past is the past, right?
