Labor Day is a federally recognized holiday. The regular businesses that close on recognized holidays are closed tomorrow. Some things that happened prior to Labor Day were riots for work hour changes, and worker treatment, and unions came into being.

Come one, come all to the October show Jack-o-lanterns flicker softly and the shadows start to grow 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ Come along don't be afraid the ciders warm as the summer fades 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ The streets are paved with autumn leaves and porch lights glow under gloomy eaves 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ There's glitter woven in the cobweb thread and a bonfire crackling just up ahead 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ Fuzzy little spiders soft as velvet bows crawl along on the ground and tickle your toes 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ Tucked deep away in October City Spooklings sing and dance to a fun little ditty 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ Step right inside through the crooked door wipe your boots on the creaky floor 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ Everyone's scared but I'm not phased I'm in love with the things that make people afraid 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ If you're too loud or too strange If you've never fit the frame If your magic feels misplaced come on in, we're just the same 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ There's a seat for every monster every ghost and every ghoul If you've ever felt too different here, that makes you powerful 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ We've got laughter in our graveyard creepy smiles in the gloom and a choir of little weirdos singing magic from their tomb 🎃 👻 🦇 🕷️ 💀 🕯️ 🧛‍♂️ 🧟‍♀️ If you're too bright, or too dark you're safe here, don't fall apart all our hearts beat off rhythm That's the beauty.
