heartbreak
They can break your heart, but they can't break your soul; poetry about lost love that comforts and uplifts.
The Healing Heart
Now for my final thoughts… In the end, it was worth every step, leap, and jump. It was worth the risk, unlocking and opening every door, standing completely naked and vulnerable with open arms, heart and soul completely exposed. It was worth sharing every intimate detail knowing that there was no turning back and everything said in confidence could potentially completely destroy me, or otherwise set me free. It was worth the highs of pure joy and ecstasy, deep intimacy, unbridled connection, and intense desire and passion. It was worth the lows of cyclical thinking, pacing, sleepless nights, and overwhelming confusion. It was worth it all, for it was love…pure, true, absolute love.
