Confronting the Illusion: A Journey from Impulsiveness to Self-Reflection
I'm upset with myself for slipping because I realised I was doing it. By the time I had transitioned from my impulsiveness to a more conscious mental State Regarding my decisions and actions, I had already fallen into a pattern that I believed to be far gone.

The blue space
In the heart of the vast and deep blue, Where the horizon kisses the ocean's hue, There lies a realm of boundless might, Where waves dance freely in the light. Oh, the sea, with its rhythmic song, Whispering secrets as it rolls along, Each crest a story, each trough a tale, In the language of the wind's gentle wail. Beneath the surface, a world unseen, Where corals bloom and creatures preen, A symphony of life in vibrant hue, In the embrace of the ocean's blue. From the gentle lapping on sandy shores, To the tempest's roar in mighty uproars, The sea, a canvas of ever-changing art, Capturing the soul and stirring the heart. It beckons sailors with its siren call, Drawing them closer, enticing them all, To explore its depths, to chart its course, And feel the sea's eternal force. Though storms may rage and tempests brew, The sea remains steadfast, ancient and true, A timeless wonder, a boundless expanse, Forever entwined in nature's dance. So let us marvel at its endless grace, And cherish the beauty of its face, For in the embrace of the ocean's sway, We find solace and peace, come what may.

My Hero
In the quiet shadows of memory's embrace, I find my father's love, a timeless grace. A steadfast beacon in life's turbulent sea, His guiding hand, a gift to me. Through laughter and tears, he stood strong and true, His wisdom a compass, guiding me through. With each step I took, he walked by my side, In his strength and love, I found my pride. In moments of doubt, he offered his hand, A pillar of support, steadfast and grand. With gentle words, he eased my fears, Wiping away my doubts and tears. In his eyes, I see the years gone by, A legacy of love that will never die. Though time may pass and seasons change, His presence in my heart remains. So here's to you, my father dear, With gratitude and love sincere. For all you've done and all you are, You'll forever be my guiding star

Assessing Your Worth: Strategies for Self-Reflection
Determining your worth We all find ourselves questioning how far we can go and estimate our value, what we bring to the table, and how much we can foster evidence that we are worth it and that our presence is meaningful in the room we muster up our courage to be in. Ever find yourself in that mindset of having to earn the right to be in every room and beholding your self-worth at the mercy of others? It is exhausting to think that you need to prove yourself constantly. We live in a world where it is easier for people to deprecate and devalue others, trying their best to burden their insecurities on them and make themselves feel superior, rather than honoring genuine human connection and making the person feel heard and seen. While it is easier to forge superiority over connection, empathy and genuine openness to one another are what we need as a community to foster our social well-being.
