art
Poetry and art go hand in hand; in fact, a poem is just art in the written form.

The sun is shining. It’s terribly cold inside of my heart. It’s so very hot outside. The sun is out. It’s out there like it’s the life of the party. It’s leering at me. I’m an outsider. I haven’t been invited to this party, only because I knew someone who was already invited is the reason why I came. The sun is male. He mocks me for my curves and my curls and my dress that fits me like I was a three year old that tried to dress myself. Makeup haunts my face like a mask that no one ever asked me to wear yet I think I have to anyway. And what would he say? Would he whisper about me to the moon in passing? She would never look my way.
