Spirit of the Night

A Poem

By Mercedes ChavezPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

The lone wolf's cry to the moon, echoes through the darkness, she moves along silently as the wind gently carries her, no one sees her as she wanders beneath the moonlight, her hair dark as the night sky, her eyes bright as shimmering stars, and her skin gleams like moonlight. She is comforted by the shadows in the night, and she hunts along side a pack of wild wolves. She wanders the Earth from dusk till dawn, guiding souls away from the Land of the Lost, she accepts the cover of darkness, for she is the Spirit of the Night.
