Someplace with a fireplace
Love letters to my soulmate
This moment encapsulates me, fascinates me really. A place covered in velvet snow, as warm as fire next to you. I wonder if you look in the mirror and see a flame. Hot and bright. Maybe you see a star. It's hard to believe you see a human with faults and decorative flaws.
This moment has me questioning the passage of time. I swear we can sit here forever, watch the whiteness of the sky sing a chorus to the moon, and somehow, it'd feel like only seconds passed by. Can we wash the clock like clothes and stay on this spin cycle forever? The dizziness of child-like love, grounding enough though, to make our souls feel ancient.
This moment has me wondering what the snow flakes think of us. Are they watching us too? Curled up someplace with a fireplace, hot coffee in hand smiling at nothing and everything. Nowhere to be just yet, but here. In this moment.
