Society

Society gave me a heartbreak.

It takes 1000 steps to make a change

but it only takes one swing of a hammer

before everything breaks.

I grew up in a different kind of society.

The box one.

It takes a lot of effort to leave that box

and when you do,

the world changes around you.

What was wrong is now right.

And what was right seems now so fake.

I gave meaning to new things.

And some new things I didn't like

But when you find yourself in the middle of a fight.

You only have one chance to prove you're right.

To prove that you are prepared to embrace the light.
