Small Things

Every morning we wake. The sun is out. The day is ready. Were glued to our phones, just to feel steady. After some time you remeber to look up and appreciate all the things, little or not.

All of those rainbows after a storm.

We never thanked the rain for such a rare sight.

The birds were singing for us,

but we forgot to listen.

The moments where we lose time in pure enjoyment.

You'll never have another moment the same.

The moments that took our breath away.

We wish we had thanked the people for making us feel such a way.

The flowers kept blooming.

we never stopped to smell them.

The sun always rises for us.

But I never took the time to thank it for keeping me warm.
