She.

I sit here now, aware of life

Feeling safe, no hint of strife

She has freed my essence, my wounded soul

Day by day she makes me whole

She says she is damaged, but I am blind

Her wounds from battle I cannot find

She is complete, she just cannot see

That all those scars led her to me

He .

I sit and ponder, no clue what’s next

I do not know, I’m so perplexed

Will she stay, or will she go

I am in love, It’s all I know

I know I’m broken, immersed in fear

Can she see it, through my scant veneer

Am I worth it, worth the struggle

Could it be, that we’re a couple

Us .

I believe in us, that we'll endure

I see it in me, i see it in her

Nobody can know, what the future will hold

But to each other, our hearts have been sold

There is always hope, for a wounded soul

Two broken hearts, that together are whole

We've found each other, we've now found peace

We're starting anew, on life we have a new lease

About the Creator

Addison H.

I'm still very new to writing, but it fills me with joy to be able to express myself. It brings me even more joy to be able to bring my work to others. I'm very appreciative of my readers.

Happy reading
