the taste of the air
when she's been in the room
the haunting allure
of her favorite perfume
*
the weight of my heart
as she's walking away
and how it restarts
when she's looking my way
*
the thought of her smile
stirs emotions inside
fiercely, flirtatious and fragile
with the heart of a child
*
she exudes pure magic
in the breath of a sigh
heals my tragic
without even tryn
*
the darkness is dazzling
despite, daunting shadows
her laughter is babbling
smooth as pedals on roses
*
the touch of her skin
ignites the 4th of July
that devil may grin
with neither plea or alibi
*
she is so much more
than what meets the eye
the color of vapor
in the bright, clear-blue sky

What a marvelous, beautiful, lyrical self-portrait, Kelli! You've described you to a T (whether that was your intent or not).
