Tattered and torn
Unforeseen sadness
Wishes of unborn
Thoughts in disarray
What is this madness
Inside the demons play
While on the outside I'm dying
Hopes for madness
Shards of life distant
Memories of pain evolve
Happiness becomes resistant
Unfamiliar territory tears running wild and rampid
Hurts to breathe hurts to smile
Gasps of life linger distantly
Numb overcomes all else
Shattered heart is evaporating
Heavily my soul weeps
I’m forced to recognize
That it’s me that I hide
Behind my anger I used to reside
Now I’m numb and empty
Once you can no longer feel
It too late for you…
