Seven Colors

The seven colors of my lives

Are seven shades of blue -

Of seven seas, of seven skies

Of nights without you. <missing a sound>

The seven gifts that I received

Were brought by seven doves:

The seven lives for me to live

To love the seven loves.

The seven sounds of my strife <missing a sound>

Are songs of seven rains,

Of seven winds that have arrived

To call your seven names.

The seven seals that I have sealed

Mark seven ways you left,

And seven times my heart has healed,

Scars covering the clefts.

But be it seven, ten or two

The end will be the same,

Because it’s you, it’s always you,

Your eyes, your touch, your name.
