Rule Breaker
Sometimes consequences are felt.
These actions are the consequence
of delusional charade -
***
it's my fault for opinions
it's my fault for my life
my fault for intentions
my fault for my right
***
now the line is drawn
and you blame me for my truth -
***
it's my fault for opinions
it's my fault for my life
my fault for intentions
my fault for my right
***
I will not wear a mask for you,
I really hate your game -
***
it's my fault for opinions
it's my fault for my life
my fault for intentions
my fault for my right
***
and so, I’ve changed the rules.

Deep and powerful. Great message and image
Oooo, this was so freaking powerful! I loved it!
Yep, no masks, do you, and others like it or not - doesn’t matter as long as you are okay with it. 😍
Great poem! Love that ending!
Yeah, indeed sometimes we feel like that. Very natural. Liked your work.
Well-wrought! A nice hammer of a chorus there! The game does get boring, when there are only so many moves to play, and masters will only again and again force the proverbial stalemate. Better to exist beyond it, certainly...
The repetition makes the single line closure so much POW! impactful.
