My past lies viscous

Unleashed when pressed upon

Squeezed between good and bad

A forever-disheveled Rubik's cube

Uncapped and unable to be undone

I can't put the past(e) back in the tube

Wonderful use of metaphor, Gerard! Loved it!

  • I loved the wordplay past-paste wow!! Superb! And congrats on top story!!

  • The use of wordplay with "paste" and "tube" adds depth to the message, emphasizing the irreversible nature of past experiences, the poem invites contemplation on the complexities of personal history and the challenges of moving forward, wonderful job!

  • It is such a nice perspective from breaking a seal. Last line is very superb.
