but yet we were still surprised when we heard the news.

No other one has been able to conquer death like this,
indeed it seems too grand to be true.

Now, this plot twist means we have a calling,
a mission in the making.

Let us now leave behind our worldly desires,
and all the things that would hold us back.
Risen! Risen!
May our lives be a pleasing perfume,
like candles placed on a hill.

Even unto death we would walk,
if it would bring you glory and honor.

so that all people may know that you are...
