(Verse 1)

Little girl grew up on her own.

Momma was gone.

And Daddy worked for too long.

She became a mother.

To her sisters and brothers.

In a month that nobody really remembers.

(Chorus)

It's the slow declining of the weather.

Close to below zero.

The cold is dry and it's bitter.

I would say something better.

If this didn't sound like.

The month of November.

(Verse 2)

On the front line.

In a military time.

She starts to see how life flies.

As she saying goodbye.

To the people she won't see any more.

Because they'll be in a better place than they were before.

(Chorus)

It's the slow declining of the weather.

Close to below zero.

The cold is dry and it's bitter.

I would say something better.

If this didn't sound like.

The month of November.

(Verse 3)

Her and her first love.

Have been together for quite a few months.

They could always work out the bugs.

But after he slipped again.

He went out the door and left her with a hug.

(Chorus)

It's the slow declining of the weather.

Close to below zero.

The cold is dry and it's bitter.

I would say something better.

If this didn't sound like.

The month of November.

(Outro)

There are so many losses in November.

So remember November.

Remember, November.

Please remember November.
