to paraphrase, reflect:

love is

forbearing

gracious

wishing the best for others

with neither envy nor complaint

pleased with what is just

merciful

& true

enduring all

trusting

hoping

unfailing

perfecting

maturing

so little of which I am—

always wanting

rarely feeling

finding only for this moment

by fragile choice
