Recovery

By Your DemonPublished 6 days ago 4 min read

In shadows cast by evening’s sigh,

Where whispered secrets softly lie,

Your tale of sorrow, dark and deep,

Of trust undone, of love’s cruel seep.

You walked with hope, your heart so bright,

Through dreams that turned to endless night.

Yet she, with eyes that seemed so true,

Spun webs of lies, ensnaring you.

You saw them once, their fingers laced,

In stolen moments, hearts displaced.

She leaned into another's hold,

While you, betrayed, grew bitter cold.

I watched it all, the silent drift,

The way your heart began to shift.

Your laughter faded, spirit broke,

As clouds of doubt began to choke.

Each touch she gave was tinged with dread,

For truth would strike, and joy lay dead.

You drifted on in tortured air,

A castle built on frail despair.

Her eyes would shift, her smile would fade,

In shadows deep, your love betrayed.

Yet still you dreamed, in cruel deceit,

A dance of pain, a heart’s defeat.

She now regrets, her heart contrite,

The choices made in darkest night.

I hear her whispers, see her tears,

As guilt consumes her hidden fears.

In quiet moments, you’d ask why,

Was it you who let love die?

Not good enough, you’d often think,

As self-blame pushed you to the brink.

You spoke of futures, skies once gold,

Not knowing lies that left you cold.

And now you stand, with shattered heart,

A soul that feels the world depart.

A silent scream within the night,

For love betrayed, extinguished light.

The weight of sorrow, misery’s mark,

In darkness, left to mourn the spark.

For tragedy, with silent scream,

Has shattered life, has crushed your dream.

I witness your pain, a heart laid bare,

In shadows where the heart’s tears rain.

She wishes now to turn back time,

To cleanse her soul of secret crime.

But shadows linger, scars remain,

In hearts that beat in endless pain.

She returns, eyes wide with regret,

To find a man who’s changed, yet set.

Your once soft gaze now cold and hard,

A heart rebuilt, on guard.

You’ve grown through pain, become so strong,

Yet haunted still by what went wrong.

She sees the strength, but feels the rift,

A bond once pure, now cracked and stiff.

Regret floods her, a sorrowed plea,

But you’ve moved on, your spirit free.

Her tears now fall, for she can’t mend,

The broken love that had to end.

Yet she won’t give up, she won’t retreat,

Determined now to face defeat.

She vows to pay for all her sin,

To heal the wounds that lie within.

With every step, she tries to prove,

Her love reborn, her heart’s true groove.

She works to show, to earn once more,

The trust she shattered on the floor.

You look at her, with weary eyes,

A tempest still within your skies.

"I need more time," you softly say,

"To heal these wounds, to find my way."

She nods, with tears upon her cheek,

Her love for you, still strong, still meek.

"I’ll wait," she whispers through her tears,

"To mend our love, to calm our fears."

And so you part, with heavy hearts,

Bound by love's frail, tattered parts.

But hope remains, a flickering light,

That love may bloom again, despite.

After a week of solitude and contemplation,

You hear a gentle knock, a soft sensation.

Opening the door, your heart skips a beat,

It’s her, standing there, with a sultry heat.

She looks at you with eyes so sincere,

Bringing memories and desire near.

"I had to see you," she softly confesses,

With her voice filled with longing and caresses.

You hesitate, caught in her magnetic gaze,

Her presence stirring forbidden ways.

She asks if she can stay the night with you,

To explore passions, to ignite anew.

Though your heart still bears the scars of pain,

You feel a rush, a primal flame.

You nod, inviting her inside,

To confront the lust you both must abide.

As the night unfolds, bodies entwine,

Emotions raw, boundaries decline.

You feel a rush of desire start,

As barriers fall, revealing your heart.

She holds you close, her touch so intense,

Promising to erase past suspense.

A passion rekindled, flames rise,

With urgency, ecstasy in disguise.

In the morning light, tangled in sheets,

Awakening to a love made complete.

You gaze at her, eyes filled with fire,

Both knowing this is what you desire.

As you lie there, bodies entwined,

She whispers softly, her heart combined.

"We can fix this," she says with resolve,

"Let's learn from mistakes, our love evolve."

You listen, heart open, willing to mend,

To find a way forward, wounds to tend.

You talk of trust rebuilt from the start,

Of communication, healing each part.

With honesty, you lay your fears bare,

Vows exchanged in the morning air.

In vulnerability, you find strength,

As you navigate love's turbulent length.

Hand in hand, you face the unknown,

A journey together, your hearts grown.

In her eyes, you see the love so true,

A bond forged in passion, just for you.

And so, against all odds, you find,

A passionate ending, one of a kind.

For love, though tested, can endure,

In flames of desire, forever pure.
