In the realm of longing
I yearn to find
A meeting of souls
in moments so kind
For this, I beseech
the Buddha's divine grace
Praying for a connection
a destined embrace
~
The Buddha, in wisdom
granted my plea
Transforming me
into a kapok tree
Along the path
you may wander and roam
Under the sun
my blossoms have grown
~
Each flower carries
my hopes of the past
A testament to love
that forever will last
And as you draw near
stopping to see
The quivering leaves
reveal my fervent plea
~
The trembling leaves
a reflection of fire
Burning with passion
my deep-rooted desire
When your gentle touch
graces each petal
Rainbows cascade
a sight to unravel
~
But, my love, it's not merely
a colorful arc
It's the culmination
of a journey so stark
For within my being
cultivated with care
Lies a love that has endured
beyond compare
~
Through countless years
this love has thrived
Nurtured by time
in the depths of my hive
With every petal's touch
a testament true
To the devotion
that blossomed, solely for you
~
The sky behind you
adorned in vibrant hues
A manifestation of love
that time did accrue
For in my heart
a rainbow forever will stay
A testament to love
that won't fade away
~
Let us meet
in this most beautiful hour
Where love's essence blooms
in nature's bower
And as we unite
our souls intertwined
May the radiance of love
forever be aligned
~
In the dance of destiny
our paths have converged
Two souls entwined
their love fully submerged
For in the depths of longing
prayers were heard
A dusty connection
where love's flame is stirred
~
So let us embrace
in this moment divine
Two spirits united
in love's sacred shrine
For the love that has grown
through thousands of years
Shall forever be cherished
amidst joyous tears

Beautiful - the Buddha granted your wish and now a kapok tree. I liked that and how it then spoke of the leaves and fruit.
The lines...Each flower carries my hopes of the past...resonates deeply....I liked your poem.
colors only God can make. Beautiful variegated poetry.
Thanks for sharing. It's such a trouble when we are fully submerged in the depths of longing. But most of the people including me and you always submerged in that!
Nice😘
