When your soul is lost

Tired of visiting worn out places

~

When your heart weeps

Saddened by the letdowns of the day

~

When rage scorches your spirit

Because it was not heard

~

Cradle yourself, my friend

For it’s not you that needs to burn.

~

When nowhere on earth is safe

And the world is heading for a fall

~

When the words are empty

And all the stories end

~

When the rage of too many wounds threatens

And you’re the only place where it can land

~

Love yourself, my friend

For it’s not you that rage should tame.

~

Rage is despair claiming its voice

The roar that says “I had no other choice”

~

Rage is fury but not the enemy

She is the jaguar in all its glory

~

Rage is the fearless protector of your sanctuary

Show her reverence

And she will set you free.
