Purple Rainbows

Unrequited Love, Pangs of Perception

Purple Rainbows

Unrequited love, pangs of perception

Lost thoughts, fears of rejection

Deep roots, in black earth

Leaves mirth

Would you come out on a limb

See them reach to the sky

Fears pulling the wings of birds like wet winds

New beginnings are coming

A pink scarf, holidays and love

Purple rainbows and stars shooting above
