Pride

We

By Gregory AndersonPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Ebb and flow

Trials come and go

We are different as can be

Pride I am simply proud to be

Point and shout life is all about

Show up here only to be called queer

Saved by grace pain is only a taste

At the pulpit spew the hate we knew

In time accepted as tolerance grew

The colors of the flag proud and true

Much to know we still have far to go

We must love and exude joy along the way

Pride we must have for every single day
