Well hello prince charming

whose smile quite disarming

fancy a drink or three or five

lets me crash with him tonight

your love is sweet

and my soul is bitter

from pasts we're scathed

yet we neither are quitters

you are rose, I am thorn

you are garden, I am bramble

how we manage our emotions

is just way too much to handle

tomorrow winds its fist

in an imminent hangover

stay awhile longer

even after we are sober

the sun trails the moon

and it'll soon be eleven

no need for a wish

even hell hopes for heaven

maybe this will be good for me

and in the end, bad for you

vicious cycle repeater

table for one, drink for two

-

inspired by not making some very smart decisions
