Phoning Texas
Sometimes Technology Lets Us Down
Yesterday I tried a WhatsApp call with a great friend in Texas. We speak and chat on an almost daily basis and care greatly for each other , but yesterday the video was just not playing at all. So we actually had a WhatsApp phone call. This is inspired by that phone call, I hope you enjoy it.

And I do love hearing your sweet voice
Knowing you care for me is so nice
Yesterday technology it failed

So a phonecalll to Texas it was
And Your voice was sweeter than ever
Wanted our call to go on forever
But I still missed your smile and your face

And Today we might see each other
And see our lovely smiles as we speak
Swapping words, caring for each other
Your hair is perfect but you think Eek!!
Seeing you makes may day my darling
Love every second , we spend speaking

Hall of mirrors
Things used to matter, before all the noise. And at that time when things still had meaning, there had been dreaming too, when dreams still mattered. And the brightest dream from those times was full of mountains and seas and smiles and the types of passion that absorbs you the way a dog is absorbed by witnessing something for the first time: with absolute presence, and awe.
