Perfectly Imperfect

A Poem

Perfectly Imperfect
Photo by Molly Blackbird on Unsplash

She spends too much time looking at her flaws

She never realizes

She’s perfectly imperfect

Every part of her is worth it

Worth the work

Worth the wait

She points out this scar and that one

She points at her weight

Never once realizing

That I’m here for the fun

The laughter

It’s her soul

Not her body I’m after
