Perfect Will

My Father is not my father

Folly, folly, folly,

I knew Father’s will

I disobeyed, I went astray

I paved my own way

Through the dark underbrush

Or across the scorching desert

Trudging along the bottom of the sea

When all of this time it could have been

Easy

To follow the law of the Lord

To live in His house all my days

To sing His praises

To do things the right way

How easy would it have been to

Follow the law of the household

To live in his house all my days

To sing his praises and

To do things the right way?

Impossible. For my father is not

My Father.
